Women can gain healthy weight fast, the thin women are thinking of it and they can do it fast, but for weight gain means healthy weight gain. If you as women, want to gain weight fast, you can do it with little efforts, let's see, how you can do this.

  • Take More Calories: You have to increase the calories intake. If you are too skinny and want to initiate a weight gain, an initial boost of 500 Calories is the good amount you should start with. When you start with 500 calories extra per day, soon you will start gaining weight in few weeks, decrease the calories intake, to an optimal level, as you gain weight gradually.
  • Carbohydrates should be 60- 70% of your total Diet: As agreed, you need calories so you are in need of more Carbohydrates for adding calories to your body. Ideally, it should be 60- 70% of your total food intake. Remember, to add healthy sources of Carbohydrates like Pasta and Rice, avoid junk and processed food as the source of Carbohydrates.
  • Protein ratio is ideally 15% of total food intake: Protein is the building block for your body, add this precious one, to your diet in a ratio of at- least 15% of your total diet. The healthiest food for protein is Poultry and Diary products. Better to avoid fat rich cheese and red meat for your protein needs. Second best option is to have carbohydrates rich and protein-rich food, A chicken breast on the plate of Rice, maybe the best option for you. 
  • Avoid getting Extra Fats: Women naturally have more fat in their bodies, avoid taking extra fats. Use the healthy Olive oil for cooking or any source of fats having the good amount of Omega- 3 fatty acids. Nuts and Seeds are also the second-best options for you to have healthy fats in your body, with added health and fitness benefits.
  • Have a Snack in between meals: Healthy snacks in between major diets, can help you a lot to gain weight in a healthy way. Opt for the healthy sources, like Banana, yoghurt, and Nuts. Snacks will enable you to retain the healthy nutrients in your body for most of the time and will aid in your aim of weight gain. The best option is the Combination of Yogurt, honey, and nuts, mix well in a bowl.
  • Enhance your appetite: If you are feeling hunger in a proper way, try to boost your appetite. A cup of Soup before lunch and dinner can enhance your appetite. Second, an option is chewing Gums 30 minutes before major meals, to enhance your appetite. 
  • Focus on strength exercises: Try simple strength exercises, like initiate weightlifting, Push ups, Sit- Ups, lunges, and crunches.
  • Reduce your stress levels: Women should reduce stress levels, to gain weight. Although in some women the enhanced stress levels result in pounds gain but in some the result is opposite of this, that is weight loss.
