Are 2000 calories per day have the probability that you will lose weight?

Weight loss is the game of calories intake, you take fewer calories than what you are in need, this will create a caloric deficit and you will lose weight. Why? The deficit will be fulfilled by the already stored fats/ starches from your body and you will lose weight.

To understand this with further clarity, first, let's see how many calories is the requirement of an average Man or Women. Though it's difficult to generalize it through a common formula, however, we can broadly divide it into three categories. If you are
Active lifestyle: Then you are in need of 2000 to 2400 calories per day. In this case, you will be able to maintain your weight while taking 2000 calories per day. Chances are there that you will slightly lose weight as well.
Moderate Active lifestyle: Here your daily requirement of calories will be 1800 to 2200 calories per day. By intake of 2000 calories, you will be able to maintain your weight.

Sedentary lifestyle: Here the average requirement of calories is 1600 to 2000 calories per day. In this case, if you take 2000 calories per day then you will be able to maintain or slightly gain weight, as you are exceeding the calories you are actually in need of.
What if you are overweight: In this case, you are in need of 1200 to 1600 calories per day. So, if you are overweight and are consuming 2000 calories per day, you will gain weight.
